What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My motivation: I was tired of being unhealthy. Support from my family helped me to keep going, even when I wanted to give up – even when it meant hearing things I didn’t want to hear. Keeping it up front, this was about my life.
When did you start your journey?
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
Yes. In 2018, I had gastric sleeve weight loss surgery. But I want to say this is not a quick fix. It’s a tool to help you achieve your goal.
How did you change your eating habits?
I cut out sugars and ate less carbs. I also added a ton more vegetables to my diet. I drank water, water, and more water.
What is your workout routine?
I do cardio and weight training.
How often did you work out?
Five days a week.

My starting weight was 507 pounds, and I currently weigh 196.5 pounds.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I learned to live a healthy lifestyle.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Constancy is the key. Trust the process.
